The ISO page records the designation, the committee, the ICS, the edition, the stage 50.00 and the stage date of 8 October 2026. It also records the earlier stage dates, from the new project approval on 31 March 2025 to the DIS approval on 29 September 2026.
A derived date is computed from a recorded date and a stated rule. The site does not derive a proof date or a ballot close, because the ISO page does not record them. It uses the normal stage path only to explain what comes next, not to assert a date.
The planning date of 15 February 2027 is an estimate. It is 120 days from the build date of 18 October 2026 and 130 days from the recorded 50.00 date. It allows the normal interval for proof, ballot, approval and publication. It is useful for planning and unsafe for a contractual deadline.
The stage record and the dates are what the change watch follows. A change to the stage, the stage date, the amendment status or the estimate is emailed with the diff. The watch cannot see the unpublished text, and it says so.
No. It is an estimate, not an ISO commitment. A contract should cite the published base edition and name a review point rather than a publication date.
Because ISO has not recorded one. The site does not invent a date to fill the gap. When the record changes, the refresh gate fails the build and the record is updated.
No. Stage 50.00 is the approval stage, not publication. A product cannot be certified to an amendment that is not published.
