One page per clause
The requirement in our words, the evidence an assessor asks for, the common gaps and what to do before publication.
Open the registerAnswer six questions about the barrier and the evidence. The check returns a scope reading, the clause path that applies, the weakest step and three actions. It runs in your browser and sends nothing anywhere. It is a reading of your answers, not a compliance result.
Amendment 1 is at stage 50.00 and its text is not public. The clause path below is the same under either label. The check never calls a barrier conformant and never converts an old rating.
The ISO page records stage 50.00 on 8 October 2026. No publication date is recorded. The planning date of 15 February 2027 is an estimate for this site, not an ISO commitment. Your own date replaces it in the result and the plan.
| Input | How it is used | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Barrier function | If the barrier is not intended to stop a vehicle, it is outside the scope. If unsure, the check returns scope incomplete. | Clause 1; Clause 3.1 |
| Role | A manufacturer or procurer carries the full clause path. An operator adds the application guidance in ISO 22343-2. | Clause 1; ISO 22343-2 |
| Edition | The base edition is published. An old IWA 14-1 or PAS 68 rating is not converted by assertion. | ISO page 50080; Clause 7 |
| Report | A summary or certificate is a gap. The report under Clause 6.8 is the evidence. | Clause 6.8 |
| Rating | An undecoded string is the second gap, because the class, angle, penetration and debris decide the claim. | Clause 7.2 |
| Foundation | A site installation that differs from the tested one puts the rating in question. | Clause 5.2; Clause 6.4 |
A blank or impossible answer returns "scope incomplete" and names the missing item. The check never guesses a lighter pathway.
Every clause answer on this site points to the official record or the public preview behind it, so you can check any line yourself. The register holds 25 records, 111 evidence lines and 100 common failure lines. The dates come from the ISO stage record. The amendment text is not public, and this site does not describe what it changes.

The check is a reading of your answers, not an audit and not a compliance result. It does not decide whether the barrier is suitable for a site, lawful or safe. It does not certify anything and it is not legal advice.
